O Lord is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exist to provide mentorship, leadership, friendship and guidance to young men ages 8 to 17. All mentors are trained and background checked before pairing with a mentee. Each mentoring session is twelves weeks which includes 2 virtual meetings for 1 hour per week. 1 small group outing a mouth also an end of session event.
1/2 Session (6 weeks Recommended) Cost: $250
The first week is an introductory to the session that allows the mentee and mentor to develop a plan and expectations for the session. The following weeks will be a series of lessons, games, and activities that will begin the mentee on a path of positive change.
Full session (12 weeks) $500
Each week will be a series of lessons, games, and activities as well as an O Lord event which is covered in the cost. The final 31 days of the session the mentor and mentee create a 30 day challenge to apply and evaluate their progress. Moms will be invited to participate in O Lord Mom support group and a Mom’s day out.
1 Year mentor: ($100 per month or one time $1000) $1200
All sessions and events included. (supervised) Weekly 1 on 1 mentoring (Except major holiday weeks) Bi-weekly outings. Small group meetings. Monthly school visits and conferences with teachers.

Meet Our Team
Founder/Executive Director: Mr. Calvin HillCalvin Hill has a passion to inspire and teach young men to develop their God given talents and to assist in the development of life skills and building their dreams. He married his high school sweetheart Angela Fields (Hill) in May 2007 and they have shared their life together for twenty plus years. Today they have three sons 20yrs, 11yrs, and 10yrs old.
Mr. Hill has been involved in ministry since 2003 teaching bible studies while overseas, and in the US. He has also been a musician serving as apart of the Biibleworld Church for several years as well as serving the Jail ministry in Chesapeake city jail for a several years under Chaplin Joyner. Mr. Hill volunteeres as a youth basketball coach for the City of Chesapeake for nine years. He published his first book titled “Just My Thoughts” in 2016. He served in the USMC from 2000 to 2008 and was honorably discharged. His vision to serve God and country anyway he can has lead him to this road to build an organization that provides mentors for young men, especially to the fatherless and young men with incarcerated fathers. |
OLYM Program Director: Brenton Hamilton, MSWhas decided to work with O Lord because of his passion of working with the youth. He wants to help bring positive change to communities and visualizes it through the O Lord Organization. He has recently worked with the youth, being a tutor & mentor, during his time in college. Brenten believes his purpose for being here is stated in a famous quote. Life’s most persistent and urgent question is “What are you doing for others?” (Martin Luther King Jr)
He received his Bachelor’s Degree, in May of 2017, from Old Dominion University in Psychology. He is currently enrolled at Norfolk State University working on his MSW (Masters of Social Work). He is intending to pursue a Ph.D in psychology after receiving his Master's Degree. |
SHE-WILL Program Director: Raven BeverleyRaven Beverley was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN. She holds a bachelor of science from Middle Tennessee State University. She has been in the Hampton Roads area for 2 and a half years working in Higher Education. Her goal for Oh Lord - She Will is to help young girls understand that they can and they will be game changers. Her vision is for the young girls who start in this organization, evolve into the same women who lead the generations to come.
